What After MCC NEET Round 3 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who receive a seat need to follow the reporting instructions within the specified timeline. For Round 3, reporting at the allotted institute is scheduled from October 1 to October 9, 2026. Participating institutes will then verify and share joined-candidate data with MCC on October 10. Students should not wait until the last day to complete reporting. They should check the allotted college's instructions, required documents, admission process and fee requirements before travelling to the institute.

Documents to Keep Ready for Reporting

• NEET UG 2026 admit card
• NEET UG 2026 result/rank information
• MCC allotment letter
• Class 10 certificate
• Class 12 certificate and marksheet
• Valid photo ID
• Category certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• Other documents specified by the allotted institute

The exact document requirements can vary according to the candidate's category and institute. Candidates should therefore follow the official MCC instructions and the allotted college's reporting notice.

What If You Get an Upgraded Seat in Round 3?

Candidates who receive an upgraded seat should carefully check the new allotment details and reporting instructions. An upgraded seat means that the candidate has received a different preference compared with the earlier allotment. Candidates should follow the applicable Round 3 rules and complete the required admission/reporting process within the deadline. The Round 3 result should therefore be checked along with the candidate's previous allotment status and the official MCC instructions.

What If You Do Not Get a Seat in Round 3?

Not receiving a seat in Round 3 does not necessarily mean the MCC UG counselling process has ended. The official MCC schedule lists an Online Stray Vacancy Round after Round 3. Registration for this stage is scheduled from October 12 to October 14, 2026, with choice filling from October 12 to October 15. Candidates who remain eligible should carefully check the official MCC notices before participating because eligibility and seat availability can vary at each stage.
